Migration Assistant

On Windows, you use C:\Program Files (x86)\PBS Pro\exec\bin\pbs_pbs_migration_assistant.batto set server configuration variables appropriately.

This command has two options: /b tells PBS to use the old server configura- tion settings, and /r tells PBS to use the new server configuration settings. 




  1. Tell PBS to use the pbs.conf file you saved in the backup directory, and to use the backup exec and home directories, by running the following:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\PBS Pro\exec\bin\pbs_migration_assistant.bat /b

    The /b option tells PBS to use the old server configuration settings.
