Support for the mpp* resource request language has been deprecated for some time. This design change is to no longer enable the PBS_translate_mpp hook by default on Cray X* series platformssystems.
For now, the PBS_translate_mpp hook will still be provided, but it will be disabled. Those still requiring MPP can enable the PBS hook using the qmgr interface, but should be warned that the hook could be removed at any time.
