There are 3 records which represent reservations in accounting logs:
U record: meant to inform the user about a reservation which got created and is still in unconfirmed state
Y record: meant to inform the user about a reservation which got confirmed
B record: printed out once for every occurrence of a reservation when it starts
The U and Y records don't provide much information at all. B record provides a lot more information.
The B record does not contain complete information about a reservation. For example - For standing reservations, we don't print out the recurrence rule and the timezone information, which can be very useful information to have in the B record.
So, I propose that we enhance the accounting logs to print out accurate and complete information about reservations. We could either beef up Y record, or correct and enhance B record.
